**Abel (he/him)** grew up in Seattle, Washington, and graduated from Harvard College in 2022 with a concentration in Sociology and Ethnicity, Migration, and Rights. In 2025, he completed his Master’s in Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he focused on teaching and teacher leadership. As an undergraduate, he directed a mentorship program through the Phillips Brooks House Association and served as Eleganza’s Director of Photography. He also studied abroad and pursued a post-graduate travel fellowship in countries including Mexico, Greece, the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Ghana.

Abel is now a Program Manager of Learning and Development at the Teacher’s Lounge, a non-profit dedicated to cultivating young teachers of color in Massachusetts. He has worked as an educator in a variety of contexts, from teaching 9th grade Humanities at Codman Academy in Dorchester, to directing a college guidance program in Seattle, to supporting young creatives in developing their art practices in London. Outside of his work in education, Abel is passionate about the arts and entrepreneurship. You can often find him behind a camera working on his latest photography or film project. He also loves spending time outdoors, especially near the water.
