Hi! I’m the Senior Tutor at Dudley Community, where I’ve had the privilege of working with non-resident and visiting students since 2016. Outside of Dudley, you’ll find me in the Sociology Department, where I teach courses on everything from classical theory and pop culture to art, religion, and humanitarian aid. One of my favorite teaching adventures has been leading students through the Harvard Art Museums to explore how art and social theory illuminate each other—proving that big ideas aren’t just for the classroom (or the library). My research focuses on how moral ideas shape organizations, from NGOs like the Red Cross to debates within the academy. (If you’re ever curious about humanitarian work or how sociologists argue with each other, just ask—I promise to spare you the footnotes!)

What I love most about Dudley students is the diverse paths and perspectives they bring to Harvard—whether by design or by necessity, your journeys often break the mold, and I find myself learning alongside you every year. If you want to talk about your goals, coursework, the best spot for coffee in Cambridge, or just swap movie recommendations (I’m always up for a great horror film), don’t hesitate to reach out. I also have a not-so-secret passion for baking bread—happy to trade recipes or just talk about the magic of carbs any time.

I look forward to connecting and making your time at Harvard as rewarding as possible.
